Hi Rick. Just wanted you to know that I started a new job as 'the IT person' at L***** Industries yesterday. Most of all, I wanted you to know that I followed your advice in letting my friends and acquaintances know via email that I was looking. As a result, a friend actively promoted me to two of his clients, and as they say, the rest is history! Thanks for urging me to step out of my comfort zone - it made all the difference! Thanks so much, CK-Job Seeker
I am just thrilled that you would drive
all the way over here to speak. I really appreciate it and definitely
want you to come back! I received nothing but great feedback from
the students who were there and I had tons of phone calls and emails
from people asking for the handouts b/c they couldn't make it last
night. That's fantastic!!!
I have not tallied survey results yet, but everyone checked "strongly agreed" that they enjoyed the topic and you.
Great job!!! :) Comments were pretty much "great info, not
enough time".

Enjoyed the energy you radiated throughout the hour you spoke yesterday.
Your practical suggestions on what to do delivered while you encouraged
us to try different approaches, was all the more effective by your
connection to us. Thanks

Rick. Thanks again for spending such valuable time with our group
last Thursday...love your energy and enthusiasm! A lot of good stuff
in your presentation, and I know our folks were grateful...

...I am forever grateful. One workshop in particular "Guerrilla Job Search by Rick Gillis" was extremely instrumental. He said to do a mass email to everyone in your personal address book. I not only emailed everyone in my personal address book, I also borrowed email addresses from friends and family. I sent out 62 emails the first day and 50 the second day. I stopped on the third day because of the positive feedback I began to receive (and still receiving). After several interviews on Friday, I was hired.

Rick, I received a nice compliment for you the other day. Marie A** R***,
who was at L******* Works when you spoke, told me about a couple
who each got jobs after they made the changes on their resumes that
you suggested. She was in culinary and I don’t know what his
area was, but they are moving to Florida and his company is paying
to move them. They are very excited. Thanks for your wonderful help. Regards, JC - HR Professional & Job Ministry Volunteer
Rick,
Of all the talks I have heard regarding tips on job searching, yours
this morning at *** has to be one of the more informative and easy
to implement that I have heard in some time.
I have taken my "Current Resume" and tweaked it to your
format.
You are providing a tremendous service to those of us job searching.
Thank you.

Rick, I enjoyed our meeting yesterday afternoon at the
HR Roundtable.
The information you provided, along with the suggestions, recommendations,
and overall positive outlook, is exactly what we need! A shot in
the ARM!
I hear you loud and clear regarding the "Save me money"
- "Make me money" approach. Whew ... what a challenge
for us HR types. (As if we didn't have enough things to work on!)

Rick,
I wish to express my appreciation for the wit, enthusiasm, tenacity,
wisdom, and knowledge you brought to the ministry yesterday. You
provided us all with wonderful tools to help locate jobs that are
a fit for us.
Again, thank you for your uplifting messages.

Dear Rick,
Short and sweet!
It was a real pleasure listening to you today at the workshop. I
want to thank you very much for your inspiration and passion for
what you do. I walked away feeling like I can do anything and the
opportunities are always there. There needs to be more people like
you in the world.
Sincerely,
