Thanks for dropping by to visit the “new and improved” RickGillis.com and blog.
My sincere thanks to Dave Able and TriFoxDesigns for all of their hard work taking my old tired domain and making it new. Also want to thank Nesossi Studio photography for a very cool vibe.
I spend a lot of time reading and reviewing many things ’employment.’
I review, oh, I don’t know, 15-20+ HR/staffing/recruiter/industry related newsletters a week; keep my eye on what I consider the better business websites, magazines and newspapers; stay highly active reading (and sometimes responding to) several employment-based LinkedIn groups; and I’m proud to say that several industry professionals across the country are acquaintances of mine if not outright friends. I also do my best to stay in touch with what is happening across in the world economically and politically especially as I try to anticipate how the actions of finance and governments affect you and employment.
I love new technologies even though I’m aware technology might be moving too fast for many job seekers. As I move forward with this blog it is my intention to bring some of this new and very fresh information to you to use as you will.
I look forward to hearing from you, discussing issues, and offering up ACTIONABLE information along the way. I promise to speak my mind and if I upset any so called “job search experts” so be it. I’m tired (no, exhausted!) with all the “experts” out there teaching the same tactics and techniques they were promoting in 1955!
It’s a Brave New World kids! Let’s play the game well.
To Your Success!
